A wooden desk organizer earns its space when it is something people look at every day, and a calendar is the one thing nearly everyone checks. The SpinCal, model B211, is built around that habit. A perpetual block calendar sits at the front of a compact wooden base, with a pen tumbler and a mobile stand beside it, so the three most-used desk helpers share one footprint.
The calendar is made of wooden blocks that you turn by hand to set the day, the date and the month. In the product image the blocks show the day, a two-digit date and the month. The calendar is described as perpetual and reusable, with no batteries and no yearly replacement needed. Next year’s calendar is the same one with the blocks turned, so it stays on the desk for years and the name on its front stays there with it.
To one side stands the pen tumbler, a dark, ribbed, rounded cup that rotates 360 degrees. Turning it brings pens, pencils and other stationery to hand without lifting or shifting the whole organizer. The ribbed shape also gives the tumbler a decorative look beside the flat calendar.
Next to the calendar, a slot works as the integrated mobile stand. A smartphone sits upright in it while you work, so messages and calls stay in view. The image shows a phone in the slot with pens in the tumbler beside it, which gives a clear idea of how this wooden desk organizer is laid out in use.
As a corporate gift, this wooden desk organizer suits employees, clients, dealers and conference attendees, and it works well for business promotions and year-start gifting. A gift that shows the date every day, holds a phone and keeps pens tidy stays in use far longer than a plain giveaway.
