The Ambassador diary (D1003) is an A5 size diary with a soft, textured cover in thermal PU leather. A5 is a mid-size page format, small enough to carry in a bag and large enough to leave room for schedules, lists and daily notes. The cover has gently rounded corners and is one solid, even color from edge to edge.
The cover design is simple and graphic. A set of fine curved lines runs down the front in a darker tone of the same color, flowing toward the lower edge, and a wider darker band sits beneath them, so the pattern shows up without adding a second color. The surface is slightly mottled and soft to the eye, which gives the diary a suede-like look instead of a glossy one. The page edges show a warm tan tone in the image, which adds a quiet contrast against the cover.
The diary comes in three colors: navy blue, rust brown and a light grey-blue. Navy is the deepest and most formal of the three, rust brown is warmer, and grey-blue is the lightest. The design is the same on all three, so the choice comes down to color alone. The grey-blue diary in the image also shows the words “Twenty Seven” in script lettering near the top of the front cover.
