The planner diary (D1011) is an A5 size diary with a cover in thermal PU leather. A5 is a handy page format: small enough to slip into a bag, with enough room on each page for plans, schedules and notes. The cover is soft and slightly mottled, with a suede-like look instead of a glossy one, and its corners are gently rounded.
The design is built around the four corners of the cover. Each corner carries a fine, framed motif in a darker tone of the cover color, drawn in thin lines that form a small bracket-like shape. Together the four motifs frame the cover like a page border, and nothing else sits on the front, so the middle stays open and the whole cover looks balanced. Because the motifs are tone on tone, the design stays subtle and the cover color does the talking. On the green diary in the image, the year 2027 is marked at the top center in light lettering, with a small ornament beneath it.
The diary comes in four colors: deep green, tan, grey-blue and rust orange. The shape and the design are the same in all four, so only the color changes. Deep green and grey-blue are the calmer choices, tan is a warm neutral, and rust orange is the brightest of the set.
