The Wooden diary (D1022) in A5 size has a cover in thermal wooden PU leather, and the name comes from the finish. The surface has a soft wood-grain texture in a warm tan-orange, with lighter and darker streaks running through it, so the cover looks like polished timber instead of a flat color. A5 sits between a pocket notebook and a full desk planner, which makes it easy to carry while still leaving room to write. Stitching runs along the edges of the cover, and the corners are gently rounded.
The left edge of the diary carries the main design detail. A broad band of fine vertical grooves runs down the spine side, like a row of narrow planks, and it adds a ribbed strip against the smoother wood grain beside it. At the top right of the front, the year 2027 is embossed inside a small square frame, pressed into the surface in a slightly darker tone so it shows as texture and not as added color.
The closure is a short strap that extends from the right edge of the cover and ends in a round tab. A round metal button sits at the center of the tab, and the sheet lists it as a magnetic side lock. It holds the diary shut in a bag or on a desk, and the shiny button is the one metal accent on the otherwise warm, matte cover.
