The Urban GEAR D1037 Business Diary 2027 is an A5 diary with a thermal PU leather cover that has a smooth, softly glossy surface. Light falls across it with gentle shading, and the brown version in particular has a deep, polished look. The corners are rounded, and the cover has a firm, structured appearance.
The most noticeable part of the design is the magnetic side lock. A broad strap extends from the right edge of the cover and carries a slim metal bar clasp. When the strap is brought across to the front, the magnet holds it in place and the diary stays closed. The metal fitting gives the plain cover a finished detail and contrasts well with the leather around it.
The year 2027 is set on the upper front in heavy block numerals. On the brown cover the numerals are gold, and on the black cover they are white. Both stand out cleanly against the dark background. On the brown cover, a line of contrast stitching runs across the lower section, and the same stitching edges the strap, adding a crafted touch to an otherwise smooth surface.
