The Arista Vault Smart Classic Wallet is a compact dark brown wallet with a smooth, even surface and a plain front. The outline is a clean rectangle with softly rounded corners, and a fine line of stitching follows the edge to give it a tidy border. The deep brown has a warm, rich tone that looks formal and stays understated, with no loud decoration anywhere on the body.
What makes it different from an ordinary one is the tracking built into it. The separation alarm works over a range of 20 m, so you get an alert when the wallet and your phone move too far apart. This helps when the wallet is left on a counter, a table or a car seat, since you find out within moments instead of hours later.
A double press on the wallet calls your phone, and the same feature works the other way round, so a phone call can also help you find the wallet. The location tracker shows where it is on a map, which is useful when you cannot remember where you last had it.
The phone screen shows a page with a Connected status and a note on the tracker signal. Three buttons sit below the status. Ring makes the tracker sound so you can find it nearby, Map shows its position, and Delete Tracker removes the paired tracker from the app. A status line at the top shows whether the alert is switched on.
