An alarm clock on a night table usually does one job. The H1904 bedside smart alarm clock does three: it helps you fall asleep, lights the room when you need it and wakes you on time. All three come from one white unit, so the table is not crowded with a lamp, a sound machine and a separate clock.
The wake-up side is simple. This alarm clock has a dual alarm with snooze, so two wake-up times can be set, for example one for weekdays and one for the weekend. The word SNOOZE is printed on the front of the unit, and a set of control buttons sits below the display, which makes the alarm easy to set and easy to silence when you are half awake.
The display shows the time in large, clear digits, and it has three brightness levels. A bright screen is easy to read in daylight but glaring in a dark bedroom, so being able to turn it down makes this alarm clock easier to live with at night.
Around the unit stands a tall, narrow white frame, and a warm light glows along its inner edges. This is the night light. It has stepped dimming, so the glow can be kept soft for a late read or switched to a brighter setting when you need to find something in the dark.
