The Elite diary (D1010) in A5 size is a mid-size diary with a thermal PU leather cover. A5 is a handy page format, smaller than a desk planner and larger than a pocket notebook, so the diary carries easily in a bag while still leaving room on each page. The cover is black, with a smooth, soft-looking surface and gently rounded corners on all four sides.
The front is kept clean. There is no pattern, print or embossed design beyond the year mark, so the shape and the closure carry the look. A wide, flat strap in the same black as the cover crosses the front and fastens at the side with a long, rounded metal clasp in a gold-tone finish. The sheet lists a magnetic side lock, so the strap holds the diary closed without a button or an elastic band. The rounded shape of the clasp also echoes the rounded corners of the cover, which makes the two details look designed together.
The bright metal stands out against the black and is the main accent on the front. The year 2027 is marked near the top of the cover in small silver lettering, set well above the strap so the clasp stays the focal point. Together, the dark cover, the gold-tone clasp and the silver year mark are the only contrast on the front, which keeps the diary formal and understated.
The diary is shown in black, and the range lists two color options, black and tan. Black is the more formal of the two, while tan is warmer and lighter.
